United We Stand Divide We Fall

Those 6 words have never been more true than they are right now.  The last week has brought our country great sorrow and pain.  It truly is time that we come together as humans and heal.  It is time we stop the racism.  It is time we stop the injustices committed on a daily basis.  It is time we rise up and stand together and say enough is enough.  We all need to do our part.  Violence only breeds more violence.  We need peace and healing.  I am calling on all my brothers and sisters no matter your race, no matter your religion, no matter your sexual orientation, no matter where you are from, where you have been, or where you are going to stand with me on our various platforms and shout ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!  No more death!  No more violence!  We will be Idle NO More!
Let me explain the reason for the two pictures posted in this blog.  I am Native American.  I belong to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.  I am very proud of my heritage and where my people come from.  I wanted to use these two pictures to show it is okay to be proud of who are and to have a strong desire to end the injustices that are committed every single day in our country.  I call on each of you to educate yourself not only about your culture but about others.  I ask that you do the research to educate yourself on the number of people killed every day in our country.  Just this year 571 people of all races have been killed by police officers. 
Rise up, be heard, be strong, and let’s end this madness!
